This van is spectacular, but it wasn’t always that way. tim9768 on Tumblr built this thing from the ground up and his work is impressive. Click through to see exactly what he did. You can also see a “before” pic.

Check out this beauty from rear. The following is a list of the mods he made.

ve fitted opening sliding side windows, a fiamma awning, Citroen saxo electric power steering, 18” audi alloys, vw lt door mirrors, a top tint windscreen (hard to come by), a sought after south african lower front grill, a chin spoiler, home developed Hid headlights with angel eyes, headlight washers, Hid spotlights, a 70,000 mile 1.8 Peugeot turbo diesel engine with intercooler for economy, home made roof rack and grafted an electric mazda bongo poptop on the roof for extra sleeping space. The inside is fully insulated using space blanket insulation. I have made a kitchen based on a Devon conversion complete with a Devon sink (under slung fresh and grey water tanks), a Devon hob/grill, porta loo, a Devon rock’n’roll bed with seat belts, propex blown gas heating, a 3 way fridge, swivelling leather front seats, CB radio, 240v hook up, twin batteries with a split charge relay, freeview tv, dvd and three 7” screens as well as many more alterations.
Its fresh out of the paint shop so its looking pretty for our trip……..I’m quite proud of the ol thing really.
