dash-tray

This extended dashboard tray gives you extra room to organize your junk. It is secured by the ash try hole and is supposedly for sale on the Samba, although I haven’t been able to find it in the classifieds. It has four compartments that act as cup holders, or you can fill it up with your gear. The top area is wide open for mounting gauges, or whatever else you want. Check it out on The Samba.

extended-sleepr

This 1986 high top camper was recently for sale, and the listing says it features an “extendedable sleeping area.” It might be good for an NBA player trying to hang out with a Vanagon. I can’t tell if it is removable or not, but it looks interesting.

pergo

We often feature rear flooring options for the Vanagon. We have seen wood, tile, carpet, rubber, and more. This Vanagon owner decided to install Pergo in the living room area. Pergo is quick, easy and durable and this Samba user reports it is holding up well.

vanagonlife-console

This is a new locking steel center console by VanagonLife for your VW Vanagon. Some retailers sell lock boxes that go under the Vanagon seats, but this lockbox is also an elegant center console. You can purchase one from VanagonLife for about $550. All indications are the build quality is tops and the implementation is elegant. This thing looks tough.

Found on Daniel Young Skateboards, these cabinets make me seriously jealous. Are you up for a weekend of Vanagon living with this setup? Click through to see more and to see the Adventure Box.

Check out these custom made striped cabinets. I ran across this picture on Pinterest, but there is little known about them. The caption on Pinterest reads, “VW Camper T5 with lovely stripey interior cabinets seen at Bus Types VW Show 2014.” Whoever made these did a great job!

electronic-console

This digital dash console was found in a 1988 VW T25 / T3 Westfalia Magnum Multivan that was for sale on eBay. The new owner does not specify what it is or what it does, but only states the previous owner was an electronics enthusiast. Also interesting in this picture is what appears to be a custom toggle switch and light above the glove box. Not bad, but he could have simply installed an the auto-on LED lights like we did.

Here is a nice interior by GT Campers. These guys know how to do an interior right. The light wood with purple and black upholstery is compelling for some reason. The countertops look great and everything has a fine finish to it. Even the pop top area looks great. Click through for another pic.

steel

What happens when you hack up some checker plate steel for the rear seat? You end up with an interesting look. Add in a new matching floor mat from Costco, and you have a very different feel in the van. Check it out.
