This gorgeous orange Transporter has so many upgrades it’s hard to count them. The custom top, body kit, grill eyelid and wheels are just a few goodies to start. What about the custom side view mirrors? He has covered the rear windows and added some sort of vent to the sliding door. The clear turn signals and rain guards round out this orange beauty.

This VW T3 Syncro expedition vehicle comes from Spain and has been completely restored. It was recently for sale and has a long list of features including, a trivalent fridge, kitchen, sink, cabinets, led lights, outdoor shower, 220v installation, rotating front seats, table in front and behind, skylight, thermal windows with curtains and mosquito nets, insulators, side door with mosquito net, static heating, fiamma awning, water tank and gray water tank. We purchased the GoWesty Auxiliary Battery Kit back in 2007 and were very excited to have a house battery that would run all of our gadgets without draining the starting battery. The installation was easy, but the kit never lived up to its promise. We were going through batteries so often and couldn’t figure out why. We eventually discovered the kit was severely underpowered and designed poorly. GoWesty has since improved the kit with a larger solenoid, but the wire they use is still small so we opted for something a little better. Click through to see what we did.
This salvaged Vanagon if for sale in Honolulu although there is no date on the listing. There is a lot to love about this build even though it appears to be salvaged. The theme of this van is white! How’s this for a gorgeous VW Doka T3 camper? The camper says “Road Ranger” on it, but it looks homemade. This camper is very well put together and has a unique look. Everything matches, and the whitewall tires on the classic wheels add a lot to its beauty. I like the semi-truck side view mirrors too!
The camper has a lot of windows and a roof rack for luggage. Great job!
If you read this blog often, you know we just installed 3 US12220 battery equivalents in our van. We couldn’t get the actual UB12220, but we installed PowerSonic batteries in the same formation.
